Overview
Focovia (“we”, “us”) is a browser-based focus timer. We do not require you to create an account. This policy describes how information may be processed when you use the app at focovia.app (or the domain where it is hosted).
Data stored on your device
The app stores preferences (language, default durations, sound), optional in-progress session state so you can resume after a refresh, streak information, session history, and optional feedback you choose to save — using your browser’s localStorage. This data remains on your device unless you clear site data, use private browsing, or switch browsers. We do not operate a central database of your tasks or timers tied to an identity you give us in-app.
Advertising
Where Google AdSense or similar third-party advertising is enabled, those providers may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver and measure ads. Their use is governed by their own policies (for example Google’s Privacy & Terms). You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Your choices
You can clear locally stored data at any time via your browser’s settings for this site. Because core processing happens locally, there is no “account deletion” on our servers for data you never sent there.
Children
Focovia is not directed at children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian, please supervise use of productivity tools in your household.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the revised policy.
