Focus timer for distraction-free work
A focus timer turns intention into time on the clock. Unlike a strict Pomodoro cadence, it can emphasize longer blocks for deep work. Focovia keeps the interface calm — and adds priorities (Eisenhower) plus Progress (today’s totals, streak, and full session history) when you want structure beyond one run.
Less distraction, more momentum
When the timer is running, your job is simple: stay with the task. Short breaks help you reset without losing the thread of the day.
From first minute to streaks
Track today’s focus time and build streaks on Progress; review full history and scores in the Session history section on the same page. Priorities keeps your next task one click from Session.
Longer blocks when you need deep work
A focus timer is not tied to 25 minutes. Pick longer focus segments for deep work, then use Progress to see whether your totals, streaks, and history match your intent.
Common questions
- What is the difference between a focus timer and a pomodoro timer?
- A pomodoro timer usually follows fixed short work/break cycles (classically 25/5). A focus timer simply protects focus time on a task — often with flexible lengths. Focovia supports both: choose presets or custom durations in Settings and on the session setup screen.
- Is this focus timer free?
- Yes. Core timing, Priorities, and Progress (including full session history) are free without an account. Optional ads may appear on marketing pages depending on configuration and your cookie choices.
- Where can I see past focus sessions?
- On Progress, scroll to Session history for your full list and aggregates; the top of the page highlights today, streaks, and recent sessions.
